About Us

Beyond Gym Design formerly launched in 2024, but its history goes back to co-founder, Adam Hensley, designing his own home gym and launching a fitness equipment review business in 2016. After testing hundreds of pieces of equipment from dozens of manufacturers, Adam built strong industry relationships and developed a unique understanding of what makes good products.

As a company, we have chosen to align ourselves with top brands across multiple categories. Build quality, biomechanics, versatility, and aesthetics are few of the most important considerations, but being able to implement those products in a well-designed layout is where Beyond shines.

In 2020, Adam started consulting with luxury home owners to design and build their gyms, and after several successful projects, decided to formalize the business with partners Jeff Witherspoon and Justin Novy.

Beyond Gym Design is now a premier name in home gym design, offering a comprehensive lineup up of the world’s best fitness equipment with service to match. In addition to residential build-outs, we are well-equipped to handle other projects, including HOA clubhouses, country clubs, boutique facilities, and more.
